Relinking Product Executables

This task must be run when

• Install a new version of the database or a new version of the technology stack 
• Install an underlying technology component used with Oracle APPS  
• The OS was patched 
• Including a new code/ Changing the code into the Applications programs  
• Apply a patch to the Apps Technology Stack 

Relinking executable programs with the Oracle server product libraries keeps them functioning properly. When you need to relink programs, run the AD Administration "Relink Applications Programs" task.
Actions
1- Start AD Administration.
2- When relinking files on a concurrent processing server, shut down the concurrent managers. When relinking files on a Forms node, shut down the Forms services. See Running AD Utilities
3- Relink programs.
From the AD Administration Main menu, go to the Maintain Applications Files menu. Then choose the "Relink Applications programs" task. For each product, choose whether to link all executables or only specific ones.

 you can specify all modules or any specific module like GL on asking for modules by the utility.
