Creating a Role and placing it in a Role Inheritance Hierarchy




 Assign the Security Administrator Role to your User
Responsibility: User Managment
1- Log in with sysadmin, Navigate User Management > Users
2- Give user name click go to search your user. Select upgrade icon.Click Assign Roles, Search by roles and responsibilities: security, Click Go, Select Security Administrator, Click Select and provide justification, Click apply and save your work.




3- Log out from sysadmin and log in with your user and verify you have the User Management responsibility.

I could not see User Management here , then I restarted the MT services and it appeared.
Create a Role with in Role Category
Responsibility: User Managment
1- Navigate Role & Role Inheritance > Create Role and enter the information like below, Click apply to save work


 Place the Role in Role Inheritance Hierarchy

1- Expand as in the pic below and select the Add Node icon in the "Partner Administrator" role.


2- Expand root node, then "Security Administration" category, Quick select your role(ie; Inam Course Administrator)  and expand "Partner Administrator" Role.
3- Select  the Add Node con on your role (ie; Inam Course Administrator) beneath the "Partner Administrator" role.
4- Enter FND%UMX into the code field under the search region, and then select Go.
5-Quick select "User Managment" role.

6-Verify your role (ie; Inam Course Administrator) inherits the User Management responsibility which is inherited by the Partner Adiministrator role by viewing it in the Role & Responsibility Hierarchy area.
