I encountered the following error while relinking
Relink with debug information [No] ?
Relinking selected modules in General Ledger.
aiosp2() Error: failure in usdspn()
Contents of error buffer are:
"usdsop cannot create a new process
Cause: usdsop encountered an error creating a new process. [Reason].
Action: Check that your system had enough resources to start a new process. Contact your system administrator to obtain
more resou (RE"
An error occurred while relinking application programs.
Continue as if it were successful [No] : No
Backing up restart files, if any......Done.
You should check the file
C:\oracle\PROD\apps\apps_st\appl\admin\PROD\log\adadmin.log
for errors.
After investigations , it was found that Oracle script did not set the cygwin correctly. So I made the change in script manually and ran the relink again and now relinking was OK.
You can encounter such type of errors with other utilities like adpatch etc also , so always check the cygwin path setting before doing anything else.
